Salary: $85,000 + Superannuation

Our client, Mohan Fashion is seeking an experienced and dynamic Retail Buyer to join their growing team.

Responsibilities:

• Research and identify market trends, customer preferences, and new product opportunities

• Select and purchase merchandise in line with company strategy, budget, and sales forecasts

• Negotiate pricing, terms, delivery schedules, and promotional support with suppliers

• Monitor stock levels to ensure adequate supply while minimising overstock and shortages

• Analyse sales performance and adjust buying decisions accordingly

• Plan and manage seasonal ranges and promotional activities

• Work closely with merchandising, marketing, and store teams to ensure product alignment

• Maintain accurate buying records, contracts, and product information

• Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and legal requirements

  
  

To qualify for this role, you must have:

• Relevant qualification

• Minimum of one year’s full-time proven experience in a Retail Buyer position or a similar purchasing role

• Strong negotiation and supplier management skills

• Good understanding of retail trends and consumer behaviour

• Strong communication and organisational skills

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
