Restaurant Manager

Salary: $73,000 - $75,000 + Superannuation

Our Client, The Baan is seeking a highly motivated Restaurant Manager to join their team.

Tasks Include:

• Coordinating all daily Front of House and Back of House restaurant operations

• Reviewing product quality, researching and contacting new vendors on behalf of the restaurant

• Controlling operational costs and identifying measures to cut waste and stock take

• Preparing reports at the end of the shift/week, including staff control, food control and sales and set budgets accordingly

• Organising and supervising shifts

• Creating detailed reports on weekly, monthly and annual revenues and expenses

• Interviewing and hiring front of house staff

• Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations

• Planning menus in consultation with Chefs

• Planning and organising special functions

• Appraise staff performance and provide feedback to improve productivity

• Train new and current employees on proper customer service practices
