JOB DESCRIPTION
Aria Technologies is seeking a talented network and system engineer to support all aspects
of the cloud voice sales process. This will include designing, demonstrating and building
solutions in a timely manner for SMB and mid-market customers.
Aria Technologies is an award winning UCaaS distributor focused on the small and medium
market in Australia via a network of highly skilled partners in the ICT/traditional voice space.
Head Office, Engineering, Support, Warehousing and some sales staff are based out of
Victoria.
As a Network and System engineer for Aria Technologies, you will be responsible for leading
the technical aspects of achieving the company’s revenue target. You will be providing
strong technical sales leadership, overcoming technical sales objections and engaging with
key stakeholders. These stakeholders may be our partners or their end customers.
The role is office based out of our Head Office in VIC. The successful applicant would be
expected to visit partners as needed and travel interstate as required. Hybrid working
options are supported for applicants post probation period.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Work under the direction of the CEO to achieve revenue targets.
Work under the direction of Engineering for design initiatives that support promotions/best practise. Reporting on a weekly basis.
Self-learning. Attend internal training courses, attend internal webinars and external vendor based training. This is a constantly developing industry and self-learning is critical to stay above the competition.
Task driven. Able to prioritise opportunities and understand the importance of accuracy and speed in response.
For large and complex opportunities, engage other parts of the business to assist as required.
Exposure to Microsoft Teams
Use the Aria Technologies sale CRM to track your activity, sales opportunities and update on this on a weekly basis.
Designs for partners within their technical capabilities.
Actively warning and documenting parts of a solution design that our outside Aria Technologies scope and require input from the end customer, their IT or the Aria partner.
REQUIREMENTS & RESPONSIBILITIES
To be successful in this key role, we expect great technical experience, a self-driven individual to get up each day and continue to drive business, great communication and consultative skills, an ability to handle constant change and a calm frame of mind in busy/time critical situations. You must be highly motivated, highly organised and a self-starter. Ideally, the successful candidate will have:
Strong understanding around the transition of the market from on premise PBX’s to Cloud.
Experience in IT and voice.
Passion for sales and understanding the sales model with partner selling, motivating an enabling the partner, pre-sales and technical competency.
Strong communication skills
Strong problem-solving skills.
Effective written and verbal communication skills to work with both internal and external
audiences as a spokesperson and advocate.
Languages: Fluent English - Written and verbal.
All tools of trade will be supplied. Mobile, laptop, headset and monitor.
