Our client, Press located in Dubbo is looking Cooks to join their kitchen team.
Responsible of cook might include by not limited to:
Creating, preparing, and costing menu items
Examine foodstuffs to ensure quality
Regultre temperatures of ovens, grills, and other cooking equipment
Preparing and cooking food
Seasoning food during cooking
Correct recipe portioning of food, place it on plates and add gravies, sauces and garnishes
Storing food in temperature controlled facilities
Preparing food to meet special dietary requirements
Maintain high standards and food handling practices
Be a team player
May plan menus and estimate food requirements
May train other kitchen staff and apprentices
To be eligible for this role:
Relevant Qualification
2+ years of experience in similar role
