Our Client, Kiama Leagues Club is seeking a highly motivated & enthusiastic Chef to join their team.
Responsibilities:
Monitoring quality of dishes at all stages of preparation and presentation
Discussing food preparation issues & menu items with Head Chef
Demonstrating cooking techniques
Advising on cooking procedures
Preparing and cooking foods according to menu and recipe specifics
Explaining and enforcing hygiene and safety regulations
Freezing and preserving foods where required
Meeting high standard set by the employer
Planning menu, estimating food and labour costs with upper management
Ordering food supplies
Training junior kitchen staff
To be considered:
Relevant Qualifications
Prior experience in a similar role
Excellent communication skills
