Our client, Mercure Wagga Wagga is seeking a highly motivated & enthusiastic Chef to join their kitchen team.
Responsibilities:
Cooking dishes according to standardised menu
Taking diners' requests and dietary requirements into consideration
The effective working in a busy environment
Cleaning kitchen as required
Adhere to WHS procedures
Planning and discussing new menu items and decorating dishes
for special functions, events and/or dietary requirements
Ability to support team and supervising junior kitchen staff
Checking stock inventory and making orders as necessary
Demonstrating techniques and advising on cooking procedures
To be considered:
Prior experience in similar role
Relevant qualifications
Excellent communication skills
