Location: Orange, NSW
Salary $60,000 - $70,000 plus Super
A fine dining establishment located in the busy regional town of Orange NSW. They have been awarded consistently over the years and have retained coveted chefs hat since 2001, something that makes them very proud of their hard working team. They are now looking for an experienced head chef to manage, direct and support their kitchen team.
Duties:
- Control and direct the food preparation process
- Construct menus with new or existing culinary creations ensuring the variety and quality of the servings
- Determine food inventory, stocking and orders
- Ensure the high quality of dishes
- Arrange for repairs when necessary
- Resolve any problems and issues
- Hiring, managing and training kitchen staff
- Estimate staff’s workload and compensations
- Maintain records of payroll and attendance
- Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
- Maintain a climate of cooperation and respect between team mates
