Salary: $50,000-$55,000
We are a bustling venue located in Bathurst NSW, popular for functions, corporate events and weddings. We are the ultimate venue, giving guests the best of all worlds, with a bistro, bottle shop, garden grill, nightclub and pub in one. We are home to many function areas, each designed to suit a range of events and function needs, whether it be for 20 people or 400 people. We are now seeking a passionate Cook to join our busy team.
Responsibilities of Role:
- Preparing ingredients cooking (e.g. slicing, cutting, marinating etc)
- Cooking food items according to menu
- Ensuring food is cooked according to portions
- Discussing menu ideas with head chef and upper management
- Demonstrating techniques and advising on cooking procedures
- Working cohesively in a team environment
- Adhering to OH&S standards and procedures
To Be Considered for this Role:
- 2+ years experience in a similar position
- Trade qualified
- Fast thinker and swift in the kitchen
- Good communication skills
