Specialising in mouth-watering, traditional, wood-fired pizza, Napoli in Bocca brings the special flavours of Italy to Sydney's inner west. They also offer a delicious range of pasta, fish, and meat dishes, which are accompanied by an extensive wine list.
They now have an opening for a dedicated, passionate and experienced Cook!
Duties:
- Examining foodstuffs to ensure quality.
- Regulating temperatures of ovens, grills and other cooking equipment.
- Preparing and cooking food.
- Seasoning food during cooking.
- Portioning food, placing it on plates, and adding gravies, sauces and garnishes.
- Storing food in temperature controlled facilities.
- Preparing food to meet special dietary requirements.
- May train other kitchen staff and apprentices.
Requirements:
- Experience in a commercial kitchen necessary; experience in an Italian restaurant is favourable.
- Qualification in Commercial Cookery or Hospitality.
- A passion for excellent Italian food is a must!
