We have a position available for a cook to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Cooking dishes according to standardized menu
- Food preparation and seasoning food during cooking (e.g. sauces, vegetables, meats etc.)
- Taking diners’ requests and dietary requirements into consideration
- Assisting senior chefs in the kitchen
- Working in a busy kitchen team
- Stock management and ordering
- Cleaning work spaces as required
To be considered, you should:
- 2+ years experience in a similar busy setting
- Trade qualified (Certificate IV on Commercial Cookery or higher)
- Passion for cooking
- Enthusiasm for the role and positive attitude
