Construction Project Manager

Position: Full-time Construction Project Manager
Location: Shepparton, VIC
Salary: $80,000 - $85,000 plus Super
Work Type: Full time

We are are medium-sized civil construction company that is a market leader in our region. We are looking for an experienced construction project manager to be part of our operations.

Duties include:  

• Collaborating with engineers, architects etc. to determine the specifics and all details of the project
• Negotiating contracts with external vendors 
• Obtaining of permits and licenses from any appropriate authorities
• Monitoring stocks to timely handle inadequacies
• Hiring contractors and other staff and allocating responsibilities across teams
• Supervising the work of labourers etc. and provide guidance when needed
• Determining the required resources (labour, equipment and materials) from the beginning to the end of a project with great attention to detail and understanding of budgetary limitations
• Determining the control measures or risk mitigation where required 
• Making contingency plans for residual risks and recording the findings of risk assessments
• Scheduling and planning all construction operations to ensure appropriate and efficient timeframes 
• Evaluating the progress and preparing detailed analytical reports
• Ensuring adherence to all health and safety standards and report issues
• Plans, organises, directs, controls and coordinates construction of civil engineering and building projects, and the physical and human resources involved in the construction process

Requirements:

• Proven relevant experience 
• Relevant tertiary qualifications 
• Familiar with construction/project management softwares
