Salary: $50, 000 - $60, 000 + Super
The Four in Hand in Paddington is dishing up quality pub classics in a relaxed pub atmosphere.
A locals watering hole, a sport's fans 'Home Ground', the place to drink, dine and be merry with friends. They are now seeking a full-time chef to join their fun team!
Responsibilities of Role:
Monitoring quality of dishes at all stages of preparation and presentation
Discussing food preparation issues & menu items with Director and Head Chef
Demonstrating cooking techniques
Advising on cooking procedures
Preparing and cooking foods according to menu and recipe specifics
Explaining and enforcing hygiene and safety regulations
Freezing and preserving foods where required
Meeting high standards set by the employer
Planning menu, estimating food and labour costs with upper management
Ordering food supplies
Training junior kitchen staff
To be considered:
A qualification in cookery
Prior experience in a similar role
Excellent communication skills
Passion for cooking
