Location: Lithgow, NSW
Salary: $50, 000 - 55, 000 + Super

Venue in Lithgow, NSW is currently looking for a passionate chef to join their team! 

Responsibilities of Role:

• Monitoring quality of dishes at all stages of preparation and presentation
• Discussing food preparation issues & menu items with Director and Head Chef
• Demonstrating cooking techniques
• Advising on cooking procedures
• Preparing and cooking foods according to menu and recipe specifics 
• Explaining and enforcing hygiene and safety regulations
• Freezing and preserving foods where required
• Meeting high standards set by the employer
• Planning menu, estimating food and labour costs with upper management 
• Ordering food supplies
• Training junior kitchen staff

To be considered:

• A qualification in cookery is preferred 
• Prior experience in a similar role
• Excellent communication skills
• Passion for cooking
