Full Time | Berrima | Chef de Partie
Location : Berrima, NSW
Salary: $55,000.00 + 9.5% Superannuation
Outstanding event company and restaurant located in the beautiful Southern Highlands requires a passionate and driven chef de partie who can assist in a large team. With a recent expansion of our clients operations, this new position has been created. You will work alongside leading chefs and cater to some of the most exclusive events within the area along with catering to locals/tourists whom visit the expansive restaurant.
Key Duties:
- Preparing ingredients for cooking
- Cooking quality restaurant dishes
- Adhering to OH&S procedures
- Ordering and monitoring stock levels
- Maintaining a clean kitchen environment by cleaning utensils and equipment when required
- Working in a fast paced environment
- Working on grill section
- Providing training and guidance to kitchen brigade
The Person:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar position
- Exposure to fine dining or large events
- Friendly and attentive qualities
- Good communication skills
- Appropriate qualifications (Cert III, Cert IV, Diploma in Commercial Cookery or equivalent)
- Passion for applying farm-to-table concept
- Creating innovative dishes
