Position: Restaurant Manager
Location: Greenway, ACT
Salary: $55,000.00 + 9.5% Super
Work Type: Full Time
5 Senses Gourmet Bar is a busy, modern cafe restaurant located in Greenway, ACT. 5 Senses trades 7 days a week for breakfast, brunch and lunch. Our food is cooked using the freshest produce and everything is made in store - nothing pre-made! We also have an extensive menu to cater for everyone (e.g. dairy free, gluten free options). We are currently looking for a restaurant manager to join our friendly team.
Duties include:
- Coordinating processes with kitchen team to ensure smooth operations
- Hiring and training new staff
- Working within company budgets
- Taking control of day-to-day operations
- Stakeholder management and client relationships
- Stock management and ordering
- Ensuring all staff comply with OH&S regulations
- Ensure staff adhere to Liquor Licencing Laws and oversee staff dispensing alcohol
- Organising and overseeing functions at the restaurant
Essential Criteria:
- Experience as restaurant manager in hospitality industry
- Hold formal managerial qualifications
- Excellent communication and problem solving skills
