Location: Central West Region, NSW
Salary: $50,000- $55,000

We are looking for an experienced chef to join our sushi venue in the Central West Region of NSW.
Responsibilities:
- Preparing ingredients for cooking (e.g. boiling rice, dicing and slicing vegetables and meat, marinating meats, boiling stocks and soups etc.)
- Preparing and making sushi rolls according to recipe
- Cooking hot dishes to order
- Planning menus, inputting ideas for new menu items/ specials
- Training and supervising staff members
- Checking stock inventory and making orders as necessary
- Complying with OH&S standards and procedures
- Maintaining a clean work environment
- Freezing and preserving food
To be considered for this position:
- A qualification in cookery is desired
- 2+ years relevant experience in Japanese cuisine is preferred (training is offered)
- Good communication and team work skills
