Located in the suburb of Canterbury, Pazar Food Collective is a bustling, vibrant restaurant serving fresh authentic Turkish and Middle Eastern inspired food. Our restaurant is tastefully decorated in a modern warehouse theme but the atmosphere is warm and friendly! Our food offerings include harissa wood fired chicken, smoked labne, smoked lamb shoulder etc. Our aim is to deliver flavoursome Turkish/Middle Eastern food but without all the added nasties! We currently have an opening for an experienced and passionate cook to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Cooking menu items according to recipe
- Preparing ingredients for cooking (chopping, slicing, marinating etc.)
- Portioning food and plating food in an attractive manner
- Storing ingredients in temperature controlled facilities and regularly checking on ingredients to ensure freshness
- Regulating the temperature of ovens, grills, fridges and freezers
- Following advice and taking direction from head chef
- Working well in a busy kitchen team
