Our client is a highly regarded licensed café, providing excellent coffee, delicious, fresh traditional food with a contemporary twist. The frequently updated menu boasts a wide range of dishes, catering to all tastes.
Your duties will include:
-Ensure a clean and organized work station while preparing food items for service.
-Properly prep and execute recipes as assigned by the Sous Chef.
-Distributed Kitchen procedure and policy information to new members.
-Learning all positions in the kitchen from prep to lead.
-Opening and closing duties in the kitchen.
To be eligible for this role:
-At least 1 year experience cooking in a commercial kitchen.
-Be able to work under minimal Supervision.
-Handle unforseen problems that may arise in a commercial kitchen.
-Be switched on for what will be a busy cooking schedule.
