Serving unique bistro meals to locals and tourists, has led to this hotel becoming extremely popular. They now seek a passionate and skilled senior chef to continue this flare in the kitchen and looking to start work as soon as possible.
Key Duties
- Preparing ingredients for cooking
- Cooking bistro style items
- Adhering to OH&S procedures
- Ordering and monitoring stock levels
- Maintaining a clean kitchen environment by cleaning utensils and equipment when required
- Working in a fast paced environment
- Providing training and guidance to kitchen team members
The Person
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar position
- Reliable, trustworthy and punctual
- Hands on approach and a ‘can do’ attitude
- Willingness to learn
- Certificate III in Commercial Cookery OR Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery or Diploma in Hospitality
