Full Time | Goulburn | Sous Chef
Location: Goulburn, NSW
Work Type: Full Time
We are seeking a proven sous chef with excellent food skills and a great track record to manage our new kitchen area with head chef. You should be experienced (ideally 3+ years) with commercial cooking (modern Australian cuisine), cost control, communication between various stakeholders (kitchen, front of house, back of house etc), training, etc.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Be able to adapt to trends
- Assist the Head chef and other staff
- Creating new seasonal menu with Head Chef
- Function & high volume a la carte catering experience
- Daily ordering and weekly/monthly stocktaking
Requirements
- Creativity and passion for the industry
- Cert. IV Commercial Cookery or higher
- 3+ years experience as a Sous Chef or similer
- Great communication and people skills
- Excellent hygiene standards
- Strong leadership abilities
